Well, most of her stuff is kind of "artsy" and not really what I want. Plus its entirely too expensive. I'm looking for something that looks more like a real chicken lol Kind of like the ones in the picture I'm attaching, but not exactly. I'd settle for that one if I could find it somewhere!

Sorry for butting in here, I've never posted on the wedding forums before but I couldn't help seeing what this post was about. :-) Have you asked your cake baker to see if she/he could make one out of gumpaste for you? That's what I would do for a client in this circumstance. Never hurts to ask, anyway!

How about looking at making Salt and pepper shakers work for you? If you dress them up you can hide the holes.

Crazy idea- with Easter coming up, I wonder if you can get some cute chicks somewhere- even a dollar store. Some sort of trinkets that you can add a piece of ribbon for a veil and bowtie...

You may not be crafty, but you've got plenty of friends who are...

What about eggs instead of chickens? Black and White Easter eggs? I think you have options here.

Well, I contacted the seller and let her know what my price limit was, and I'll just have to wait and see what she says If it isn't do-able, then I'll certainly be looking for Easter stuff! That's a really good idea. I like the salt and pepper shaker idea too I'll keep my eyes out.
