Chinese & American Southern Wedding

Hi! My name is Elise and my wedding date is April 5, 2025! My fiancé was born in China, but moved over to the states when he was 13. We will have his dad and his friends flying in from Beijing to Tennessee for our special day. We want to combine my southern roots and his Chinese roots into the wedding theme including the food and other elements. The ceremony and reception will be at a garden venue with beautiful tulips in bloom, so the theme is English/Chinese garden. I know red is a major color in Chinese weddings, but we want to incorporate it in a more subtle way. He doesn't know a lot about traditional Chinese wedding customs, but I want to honor his culture in a respectful and elegant way. Would anyone recommend any suggestions? Thank you!
