Rustic is trendy right now so many vendors work multiple events with the exact same style but that doesn't mean that's the extent of their talents. Does their in-office portfolio have a more diverse spectrum? Many planners are more than happy to work with moodboards from your favorite Pinterest/Instagram pics as a starting point.
For the planner you love, ask if she can work with your budget. Vendors negotiate all the time. Maybe there's a service she offers that you don't need so you can nix it to save money. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Thumbtack is also where I found my planner for 750$. I actually get 2 planners as they are a small company. And they are amazing!
