There's also Hawk Nelson, KB, Britt Nicole.. Hillsong anything.. FH listens to a lot of Lecrae and Andy Mineo. We listen to a bit of everything, secular and Christian.

You can most def get down to Christian music. Clearly, not everyone listens to today's artists. LOL! A lot of people think hymns or the like when they hear someone mention Christian music. Family Force 5 has excellent songs we will be getting down to. But not everyone likes that band or this genre of music. That is why my suggestion is to play a little of everything. Music taste varies from person to person.

@beccalynn KB is awesome! FH loves Britt Nicole and so do I. Along with Lecrae and Andy Mineo, haha. We don't listen to much Hawk Nelson though.

I mean, this is probably no one else's taste. But have you listened to ApologetiX at all?

The best way to describe them is the Christian Weird Al. They take popular secular songs and parody them to tell bible stories or send Christian messages. Give them a listen, they are impressive. You'll get the best of both worlds because it's likely your guests will think they're dancing to "More Than a Feeling" by Boston because they sound impressively similar to the original... but you'll know the title is "More Than a Healing" and the lyrics are about Jesus' ministry on earth.

ETA other hits include "Lived the Day you Died" - parody of Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie", "Do What David Did" - parody of "Do Wah Diddy Diddy", "For Just You" - parody of Cee Lo Green's "Forget You", "Don't Stop Til Egypt" - parody of "Don't Stop Believing by Journey.... basically something for everyone. I think it's fantastic, but I have a very nerdy, puny sense of humor.

I am having a church wedding with a reception off site and I am doing a mix of Christian an secular music. There are secular songs out there just as wholesome as Christian. I wanted a mix of music for the reception because not everyone may like the same music as me.
