My FH and I both have very strong faiths and we want to make sure that is represented in our wedding. Does anyone have any cool suggestions? And how do we go about this while also keeping our nonbeliever friends and family in mind?

Glad to know you are planning on getting married, and wishing to include Christ in your celebration.
We got married at a third chapel gievm we Katie my wofe and I are from congregations from two different states.
What invited friends to our wedding regardless of faith standing; believers or unbelievers. We decided to go the nin traditional route for wedding ceremony; walking song and sounds tracks were christian instrumentals songs instead of the classical wedding marches. We asked the officiant to speak a shorten sermon that would include a mesage to thw couple, the families, and the guests. In the end we know the Lord was glorified and many elements of the wedding pointed to Christ. At the reception we embraced both of our cultures and celebrated big by swaping our traditional dressing. My wife is from Scottish origin and I have a Honduran background. Feedback from people attending the ceremony and reception is ours was a unique wedding in the sense we decided to celebrate our union.

My FH and I will definitely be having our officiant (his old youth pastor) pray over us/lead us in prayer and we will be doing a candle lighting unity ceremony to represent our two fleshes becoming one! Hoping to be as traditional of a Christian wedding as we can! Might incorporate some worship music on our wedding playlist as well! My side of the family is non-religious, but they have been very accepting of my faith and are very supportive in what I believe in, so I know they won’t mind any of this at all! At the end of the day, it’s your wedding so what you and your FH decide together is what matters most!! Like others have said, I would include a ceremony program explaining different religious components of your ceremony and I’m sure your family and friends who are non-believers will respect whatever you decide to do in order to support you! Smiley smile
