Church flower girls

Jenace, on June 7, 2018 at 4:43 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 10
So I just found out my girls cant throw flowers inside the church, so I saw the new trend of holding signs like "here comes the love of your life."
Would tall think that's a good idea or should the girls remain holding flower balls?

How old is your flower girl? I'm having our 6 year old flower girl carry a bouquet (we're also having a church wedding!) She's really excited to hold a bouquet like the "big girls". My florist is just making a small spray for her.

My flower girl turned into a junior bridesmaid because she was older ad wanted a bouquet like the bridesmaids lol so I just made her a bouquet and she held that. I've also heard of flower girls walking down the aisle handing flowers out to the guests as she walks down.

We are also having a church wedding and our church has the same rule. Our flower girls are 2 and 4 so we will be making flower balls with fake flowers for them to hold.

Keep the flower balls - to be blunt those signs are a bit cheesy. We guests know the bride is coming.

Since you have so many, you could mix it up a little and do a different one with each. Flowers for some, signs for the others.

Weddings can be overloaded with signs. It treats the guests like they are too stupid to figure out anything on their own. How did our parents, grandparents etc ever manage to have a wedding without signs?

I would have them carry a basket of real flowers to hand out to the guests on the aisle.Church flower girls 1

I like the idea of having them hand out flowers to guests. You could even just get a couple of bouquets from the grocery store to use.
