Yes, that's exactly what I love about it.

We had a casual ceremony that was a "pop up" meaning no seating arrangements were made, many people were standing, some sitting at tables around us. We were on a platform so others could see us.
It's really nice to be surrounded by those we love.
We had a suspended palette with Edison lights and florals, it was indoors.
Tips:
- Have your closest family and friends in the inner circle, photogenic people are bonus, you're photographer may be able to blue them out depending on their distance

I’m getting married in a circular ceremony. I love the idea for the same reasons you said and it was the deciding factor for my venue. My venue does it often bc they have a large rotunda that’s perfect for it (pics attached). Because the venue is so ornate I plan to just do some long floral and greenery aisle markers in the front row like the pic attached.

I absolutely LOVE this circular seating concept. Wish my venue did something like that!

I love the idea but won’t there be some people looking at your back? I don’t want ‘sides’ but I’m just not sure what to do. We’re only having around 30 people so it’s going to be really small.

I thought it would be ok since in a traditional seating arrangement everyone sees your back, so I am ok with a few people seeing my back vs all. We are having a small wedding too of about 50 people so thought this arrangement would be very intimate and personal.

Me too. Just have to figure out the logistics of space since my venue is a wide open space. Crossing fingers we can make it work.
