Clear top Wedding tents

I've never seen it! That's a great idea, I'd be interested to hear too!

My FMIL really wanted me to get this type of tent because she went to a wedding in the backyard of one of the old mansions in the Garden District of New Orleans that had one and it was gorgeous. It worked well there because there were lots of trees to provide shade and it allowed you to see all of the Spanish moss that hung from them. I think they may have also put greenery and flowers on top of the clear roof to make it feel like you were enveloped in nature and not a tent.

My local rental company does not offer this type of tent, plus I am mainly getting a tent for shade as my wedding reception will start at 4:30pm. If you only have an hour of sunlight, maybe you could put greenery and flowers on top as well to provide some shade.

I saw these and thought they were so cool! Couldn't find one in my area but we need it for shade!

We inquired about this when looking for venues and the tent rental company said the clear tents tend to have a greenhouse effect (humid, foggy) when it's warmer or rainy outside. With our wedding date we decided against it. I would consider that for your April date as well. They are beautiful though!
