Clip in Hair extensions, yes or no?

So I just had my hair and make up trial this past Sunday, and now I'm stuck trying to decide whether I should buy some clip in extensions to add some more fullness. My hair is about waist length, fine, and naturally stick straight so it is about impossible to get it to hold a curl. The top pic is what I showed my stylist and the picture below is how mine came out (sorry I couldn't figure out how to rotate it lol). Overall I like the way it looks, I just think it might look more how I had imagined if it was fuller. My thoughts behind the style were that as much as I would love to just have my hair down with lots of curls, I know it would be straight again before the ceremony even started. I figured something that could kind of mimic that look but have a little more structure to it to hold it in place would work better and since the back of my dress comes to a lower "V" I figured this style would highlight that.

Sorry bout the long post, any thoughts or suggestions ya'll have would be greatly appreciated.

If you do think I should get some clip ins to add some fullness and have any suggestions on affordable options that would be great too Smiley smile

Hairstyle pics on the internet are almost always using hair extensions. So to acheive that fuller look you want, you probably should use clip-ins.

I think your trial is fine but like PP said to achieve a fuller look you might want extensions

I think your hair looks great! But if you truly want "Pinterest Hair", get extensions. If you want the hair to curl, it has to be human hair so it will cost a little bit more. I got the longest, fullest extensions from Milk + Blush and paid $260. I'm so happy I did, I was in love with my hair!

I was on the fence about extensions for a long time. My hair is thin, fine, and has a hard time holding curl. So, the obvious answer: extensions. However, in my research, I found that they can be VERY expensive!! All for something I'm not even sure about. So, I went searching for a more affordable option. I did find some extensions on Amazon that were super cheap. I was concerned about the quality, but then it hit me. I could use the cheaper extensions for my trial, to see if it would even work, if I could achieve the look I've been having in my head. So, for about $40, I bought some cheap extensions, and used them for my trial. I was so glad I did, because I could see exactly what I needed to change/correct to have the wedding hair I wanted, and I was able to figure it out without breaking the bank.

My takeaway from it all is that I do need extensions to achieve the hairstyle I want for my wedding. Once we get closer, I'll get some higher quality ones. But I should add that even the "cheapie" ones were decent quality. I was really surprised, but it looked and felt like my hair, and nobody I saw or talked to could tell the difference. Even my dad asked "did your hair get really long, and I just didn't notice?" LOL Yep!!

Clip in! I wash my hair everyday so tape in or fuse in or sewn in wasn't going to work for me. They were great quality clip ins!

I'm going to use them for the same reason. They're not that expensive on Amazon for real hair. Like $36 but I don't know what your budget is

I bought clip on extensions from Bellami. The stylist doing my hair said they were great quality. Here are pics from my trial. I have thick hair but mine wasn’t long enough to do the look I wanted
