Cloak with a ballgown?

Has anyone worn a cloak with a ballgown? I've searched for wedding cloak pictures but they're all for more form fitting or A-line dresses and I'd love to see something closer to what mine would look like.

I'm considering a cloak as our wedding is in the Midwest in November and my dress is off-the-shoulder (so not super conducive to tighter jackets). I also like the fantasy element of cloaks and the ability to then incorporate some color.

YES! Cloaks all the way! If we were having a later Midwest wedding (ours is in August so still quite warm) I would definitely wear a cloak!!! I am wearing a veil cape though instead of a traditional veil.
