clock centerpieces

Taylor, on October 3, 2016 at 10:21 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

My wedding is based off of Beauty and the beast. We are not using the actual characters but taking the ideas from it, roses, books, candlestick, clock, the colors. I am having a hard time finding clocks that aren't going to kill our budget. I need a few of them and want them to look similar to Cosworth. Anyone have any ideas of what I can do or even where to look? I'm getting so overwhelmed I'm about to simple floating candle centerpieces and do nothing fancy-like.

Id shop thrift stores! They have great antiques and will be cheap.

Try thrift stores! You probably won't be able to find clocks that match exactly though

Don't forget stores like TJ Maxx, Homegoods, etc. Great prices AND really unique stuff.

My wedding is also based off of beauty and the beast. We aren't doing clocks as a centrepiece but my mom did gift me with a pendulum mantle clock to use as a decorative piece on our sign in table. I'm pretty sure she paid a pretty penny for it because we couldn't find anything similar enough anywhere but online. I will tell you for the rose, they have the perfect bell jars to put over them at hobby lobby. They don't have that weird handle piece that most bell jars have, so they look really cool.

Thrift stores and garage sales can be a gold mine! Also, try Tuesday Morning. They have a very eclectic selection. Over time, you might find something that works.

ETA: Add Amazon to your list. I'm always amazed by the things I find there that I can't seem to find anywhere else.

Our wedding is based off beauty and the beast and I bought the characters from Disney because I couldn't find anything similar.

We are doing old vintage clock centerpieces for our NYE wedding - we have found over 50 clocks and my limit was $10 a clock. I have not spent over 7 for one so far. My FMIL has done a bulk of the finding, but we have found them at antique shops, thrift shops, garage sales & ebay. Although most of them for myself are a vintage style, we have seen ones of the type youre looking for. Just keep looking, you will find some!

Agree with amazon, thrift stores and homegoods. home goods always seems to have just what I'm looking for. antique shops might also help as well, or second hand stores
