Closed toe or open toe slippers?

Gen, on October 11, 2018 at 12:36 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12
This is a really dumb and petty question but just curious what you would prefer as a bridesmaid! (The robes I am ordering come with slippers for an additional $2 so I feel like I may as well get them.)

For context, the wedding is in June, so I felt like open-toe may be more suited to the season? Plus if they’ve painted their toes they may want open-toed shoes to let them dry? But personally I feel like I’m more likely to wear closed-toe on another day.

Definitely overthinking this lol but I’m just curious what people would prefer!

Neither. You would never get me in a robe for getting ready, or for pictures, so slipper choice is moot.

I would prefer open toe, I think they stay on better unless they have a heel. Plus, if girl's are painting their toe nails in the bridal suite last minute, it would be easier!

I mean I really don’t care if they wear them for getting ready or for photos or anything, we’re not even having professional photos taken for getting ready. I’d just like them to have the option of wearing the robes if they want

I always prefer open toe. Especially in June! Think those would work perfectly for getting ready in the summer.

I think open toe for June wedding. Since they're only $2 extra I wouldn't worry too much about how often they wear them and they're nice in the summer.

I vote open toe. My feet get really sweaty. It's nice to have something to walk in but still let's your feet breath.

Silly question gets silly answer— if the closed toed version is only closed in the front (so open backed), I’m team open toe all the way . I don’t like having my toes in and heels out 🤣🤣

Yeah I’m extremely flexible about what my bridesmaids do, literally all I asked was that they get a floorlength dress in a certain color, could be any dress, idc what they do with shoes, jewelry, hair, makeup, etc. I don’t want to put them out at all, just want them to be happy and comfortable and have a good time! I'm just doing robes because one of my bridesmaids mentioned that she got a robe when she was a bridesmaid in another wedding and that she loved that, so I figured it'd be a nice thing to add for my girls, but again I really don't care if they wear it or not, it's there for the option only
