Co-maids of Honor Only?

Elizabeth, on January 4, 2022 at 1:56 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
I have 2 women that I want by my side for my wedding. My fiancé does not want a wedding party but I have already decided to honor them but not have them stand with me at the alter. I am wondering what the proper title for them would be since I am only having them. Would it be better if they were co-moh or bridesmaids only?

It's fairly common to have one maid of honor and one matron of honor (depending on their ages, marital status, etc.)

When my sister got married, our other sister and I were her only attendants. Our oldest sister was matron of honor, and I was maid of honor. Her husband only had one attendant, who was best man. Just curious, why doesn't your fiancé want any groomsmen? Does he not know anybody he's close enough to, or does he have too many to choose from?

I had both a maid of honor and a matron of honor!! 💕

It's totally up to you! You could have them listed as bridesmaids or as your maids of honor!
