cocktail napkins

Sounds a little much. Maybe save a little and only get 150-200 napkins.

Yeah i originally thought maybe 200 ..but then i started thinking if the passed appetizers had napkins with each one i feel like each person my eventually end up needing 3-4.

I have 500 for 160 guests

I bought 150 for our wedding(brown) of 62 guests and guess what, I am till putting them in my youngest daughter's lunch bag.

So, I changed the order for my daughter's wedding(pink) of 150 guests and only ordered 150. Guess what? I am sure she is putting them in her lunch bag. : )

If you are the only person supplying the naps (as opposed to you supplying personal ones and then going to whatever the venue uses), I"d do 250 and then let the rest be plain.

Go much lower, we ordered 250 for 100 guests and brought home 75% of them. I don't find them necessary at all and wished I had saved the money. They are a nice memento however is an unnecessary item I feel.

I ordered 600 for 200 guests (inviting 285...but planning for around 200) I wanted to save 1 of each design for a scrapbook or whatever...and I figured people would be having drinks all night, but if they are leftover, so be it!

Most people will not take one, with their drinks. They may, for the first drink if the bartender puts it under the first drink.

I am with the others, down scale the amount you plan to order. With 135 guests (are those invited guests, or guest who have already RSVP'd?) I would only order 200. You will probable still have leftover napkins. LOL!

As with Caroles post, I ordered some for my daughters Bridal Shower. I ordered 50. There were 20 guests. I had about 30 leftover. Just used the last four yesterday, as we ate prawns while playing Monopoly. LOL!

They are fun, but most of your guests won't even notice that they are personalized.

PS, Carole, I love the graphic on your napkins.

We figured 200 napkins for 100 guests and figured we'd have plenty left over. We will be putting them on the appetizer tables, some at the bar, and if there are a lot left when we cut the cake then we'll put some by the cake hoping guests will take some of them.

Carole, we are getting the same napkin design you used (the brown one)...ours is black with silver print

Thanks so much for your advice you guys! definitely going to scale this order back, we are inviting 170 at a max but a lot are out of towners bc my fh is from ohio originally. he worked out a system for a percentage of how many would be able to attend and we got 135ish! just using that as a baseline but it sounds like i can under estimate for the napkins
