Cocomelody??

2021Snowbride, on September 4, 2018 at 12:17 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18

Has anyone ever heard of this online company called Cocomelody, or gotten a dress from here? I have never heard of them before and I am concerned about ordering anything online. They have some really beautiful dresses, I am seeing them everywhere in pictures but can not find them anywhere else to purchase.

I’ve never heard of them or bought a dress from them. I bought my bridesmaid dresses online from www.hebeos.com and was VERY pleased with my decision.

What’s your hesitation concerning purchasing something online? What’s their return policy? You could try ordering one dress and seeing if you like it or not and go from there.

I've ordered my dress from them. I will let you know how it is when it gets here. Smiley smile Very good service and communication all along. Keep in mind, even when ordering from a boutique, it's not always smooth sailing.

They do have a store in Los Angeles, if you want to see dresses in person. They also have a very active page on facebook for feedback and reviews.

I almost ordered a dress from them, but ended up going with something different. I have seen a few Cocomelody brides on here that have reported much satisfaction with their dresses and customizations. Hopefully one of them will post, but you can also search the forums for Cocomelody. There is also a Facebook group where people post pictures and reviews/experiences. The dresses are made in China (frankly, so are David's Bridal dresses), but they have a couple actual stores in the US as well.

@Tracy thank you!! I would greatly appreciate that! My hesitation is not knowing the company and how they operate. I also just found out i like mermaid style and still unsure of what i like better, tulle or satin etc so I would just really like to see it on before i purchase.

There was a bride last fall who had a very customized dress from Cocomelody; however, she was close enough to go to the LA store. She was thrilled with her dress and the level of service she received. She posted about it pretty regularly. If I can find it, I'll try to add a link to one of her posts.

Following this, I am in looove with this one dress and nothing I've tried on has gotten me as excited, but I'm hesitant to commit to a dress I haven't tried on physically

I didn't end up ordering from them but I did try on gowns at their LA showroom and I can't speak highly enough about their quality! The dresses were absolutely gorgeous, and imo much higher quality than much more expensive ones I saw at Davids. I'll attach a few pics. Let me know if you have any more specific questions 🙂

I ordered my dress from them and customized it. I am IN LOVE with it - it's gorgeous, good quality, and I have zero complaints. I also had a fantastic experience with their customer service throughout the customization process.

What I customized: Neckline (lowered), back (opened and deepened it a little), train length (shortened it), and the skirt (raised the point of flare to hip level for a more A-line look). I also ordered with custom measurements though in hindsight it wasn't necessary - I lost a decent bit of weight after ordering and ended up having to get it altered anyway. But they were very responsive and helpful.

Ten out of ten, for me. (Oh with all of that, my dress was just under $600!)

I'm ten days away from my wedding, and I can't wait to wear it!

Exactly! Plus I'm worried about if you customize it then you can't return it. Gah! But I keep going to just look at it, I can't stop thinking about it lol Here I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

So glad I found this post as I to have been very hesitant on ordering my dress from them online. I’m in Michigan so unfortunately going to the store itself and trying on the dresses is not a option for me. I’ve already purchased a dress from David’s bridal and am totally and completely disappointed with it. But I have since fallen in love with one on cocomelody that I just can not stop thinking about. I am also very hesitant about ordering a custom size seems how there are no returns. With my figure (41 1/2 bust, 38 waist and 51 hips🤷🏼‍♀️) i have to get anything I buy altered at some point either way so I’m thinking with just ordering a bigger size to be safe? Has anyone else done it this way?

st pic is of cocomelody dress I’m in love with. 2nd is dress I already purchased

I went to try cocomelody dresses recently and Im so excited about it! Smiley smile

Its a bridal boutique with a showroom in Downtown LA where you can make an appointment to try dresses. Everyone is so helpful and accomodating. The dresses are pretty and very affordable. Ive only gone for one appointment to try some but haven't decided on anything yet. For the prices, I will definitely get one from cocomelody.
