What would you think if you got coffee grounds as a wedding favor? Would you enjoy it? If your a not a coffee drinker what would you think?

Were thinking of giving a pots worth of ground coffee. His family are huge coffee drinkers and we were thinking of doing like a nice roast in a small jar (but still enough in it to make a 12 cup pot of coffee)

We would put it in a little tin or jar like one of these. Were also going to give Jordan Almonds with that because that is what my mother really wants as well

Which look is better glass or tin?

All opinions welcome, good or bad!

We're using small cloth bags that say "eat drink and be married" with our names and dates on. Then putting then in a basket with a chalkboard that says "brewed with love" next to the escort cards. I know not everyone drinks coffee but its really personal for us because we drink a TON of coffee.

I told Fh your suggestions. He really likes the cocoa idea too. That way the kids get something to. We are only having immediate familys children and thats like 20 kids ha

I think it's super cute. I don't drink coffee, but FH does and would love it. I really like the cocoa idea, too. Coffee and cocoa is always a great mix!

I like the tin, too. It's cuter IMO.

I think it's cute! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I wouldn't mind. It would still get used in our house. I like the tin for coffee and think it should be ground.

I don't drink coffee but I think it's a great idea! Maybe have tea as an option too?

Personally, I'm another one of those who don't drink coffee or tea. That being said, there is nothing out there that will please EVERYONE. I do think its a nice favor and will be liked by most.

I am a coffee lover and so is my DH! This idea is great. I'd use the tin and even people who don't drink coffee serve it to company.

I like coffee but it doesn't like me, so I'd prefer the tea or hot chocolate mix (probably hot chocolate a little more because unless it was tea bags it's a little harder to make loose leaf tea). Maybe about 80% coffee though because I think most people would love it! I think it's super cute and great to represent you! The tin is also cute, I wouldn't mind using it again, maybe even to store paperclips on my desk or something!

I LOVE this idea...it is adorable, and I love the poster who said to add "love is brewing" or "the perfect blend" to it. This is a favor I would actually use...and probably go around and take the ones off of the table that others left behind! LOL

    Oh...and I like the first container. =)

Great idea. Everyone knows someone who loves coffee, so it would get used one way or another! I like the tin container Smiley smile

Love this idea (of course!) The tin is our choice.

Here's another way you can express your love of coffee AND give a favor at the same time. One of our clients, who happened to be a potter, loved coffee so much that she created handmade mugs for everyone to use at the wedding, then take home as favors. It was a brunch reception and she hired us to set up our espresso bar to serve fantastic coffee drinks in those mugs!

Thank you ladies for all your input! We will certainly go for the tins when we do it! And add a cocoa choice as well
