Have you selected your venue yet? Of course you can select any colors for any location. But, I feel as though the venue helps in selecting the wedding colors.

If it's a winter wedding, I would go with classic black and white or dark purples and greens. I would not try to pick a rainbow or "elements" palette, as that's just too many colors and things can clash.

I wouldn't do rainbow or the elements one. That's way too many colors. I would stick to only a few colors otherwise it will end up looking disorganized and distract your guests.

I like the oceans palette... it’s good for any season, the colors are easy to find, accessorize and compliment any skin tone.

The ocean scheme is my personal favorite but you can’t go wrong with black & white. I agree that you should pick your venue so your colors aren’t clashing with the venue.

When I invision winter I see white and maybe blues if you do a forest theme try greens deep purples
