Color palette

Hi!

Up until now I have been very clear on wanting eggplant, lilac and green for our colors. I’ve been searching high and low for the exact eggplant color that I want for BM dresses with no luck! I am thinking of changing to desert/dusty rose and green but I am wondering if it is too close to mauve. My FH brother is getting married 6 months before us and will have mauve as the main color. Is it rude to pick a similar color? Or am I just completely over thinking this? Thanks! Color palette 1

    I don't think it's rude!

Check out Azazie & try either grape or lilac if you want to stick with your original color scheme

It says David's bridal brand. I will tell you a lot of bridal stores the colors are always different like some for eggplant they'll have it for plum color instead but other places will have eggplant color. Just have to look around girl. Don't give up. Also if you do Dusty Rose some places won't have it as dusty rose but as quartz (David's bridal I know forsure) it's frustrating but don't give up.

I had a similar issue and similar thoughts. I wanted royal blue, still looking for the style I want but may have to go with navy (which I did adore next to my ivory dress). I won’t do a light blue/turquoise because my sister did, my other close friend did yellow (I also thought about yellow). But really what it comes down to is what I love. So if a friend or relative did royal/navy blue I probably would do it anyway!

I think the dusty rose and mauve are pretty different still! Mauve I think is more of a purple under tone and dusty rose is more pink. I don't think it would be rude at all to have the same or similar color!

I would say you're overthinking! But I completely understand because I'm the same way. It's not rude at all to have the same colors, unless you plan on copying every single aspect of their wedding which I'm sure you don't!

You could always do different color dresses in lilac, grape, etc. If you're really set on that color then keep searching!

If you want to switch to dusty rose...I have some bad news for you. It’s also hard to find dresses in the perfect color for this color palette 😂
Lulu’s has a dress that looks perfect online but in person it’s almost bubblegum pink. I’ve hit a road block on the “dusty rose” color palette. Just as a warning.

LMAO girl I get it 😂😂
Honestly, I’m being really picky about the style. If you’re going to look for that color, you can find similar in “chianti“ from DB. “Rusty rose” and “English rose” are also buzz words. 🙄

I think its beautiful color scheme!! no one will really notice if you both have the same color scheme because the wedding and decor wont be the same. i say go for it!
