Colorado destination on a budget!

Brittany, on December 5, 2018 at 12:25 AM Posted in Colorado Planning 0 5
I’m looking for a beautiful spot to get married in Colorado outdoors for free- with just immediate family attending. We’ve decided on renting a big house out there in Breckenridge area to accommodate others, but we want to find a gorgeous romantic spot to exchange vows that will be perfect for pictures!
Also looking for a small venue that will fit 30 people just for dinner that we won’t have to rent out! Any suggestions at all are appreciated! We are traveling from Michigan 💕

Hey Brittany, welcome to the WeddingWire community! Smiley ring

Are you familiar with any of the national or local parks in that area? You could always go to one of those to exchange your vows! Or if the house you are staying at has good views you could even do it there! I like the idea above of catering food to the house and celebrating there! I did a venue search for restaurant type venues in that area as well for you to look through! I'll link it below!

Hi Brittany! Have you found any good places for your wedding? You could also look on AirBnB for a cabin that will allow events.

We are getting married in Larkspur in July. These were the cheaper ones we looked at: Ten Bears Winery in Laporte, CO (didn't charge a venue fee, you just had to use their alcohol), Marriott on Horsetooth in Fort Collins (I don't remember the rate, but they had a pretty back room with bistro lights and it was affordable), The Wort Hotel (Jackson Hole, WY) $500-$1,000, Trail End Historic Site (Sheridan, WY) $200, Aspen Grove at Sundance Trail (Red Feather Lakes, CO) $250-$450, Bentwood Inn (Jacksonville, WY) $500-$2,000, and the Green Briar Inn(Boulder, CO) $1,200-1,800. I hope that helps!

I know this might be a little late but I just found this forum. I just booked sapphire point for my wedding in December and it’s a beautiful location. It’s in Frisco which is close to Breckenridge. I’ve heard great things about it and it fits up to 35 people. You just have to get a permit for $110 to get married there.

Did you find a place for the dinner? We are still trying to figure out a spot to go for the night before the wedding. We are having a very small intimate ceremony at sapphire point but we are from florida and are going to plan a ton of Colorado activities for when we are there with family and friends that week!

Good luck with the wedding planning!
