Colorado intimate ceremony and honeymoon suggestions?!

Hi Stacey! Welcome to WeddingWire!! I don't have any particular inklings toward honeymoon resorts, but I would look toward the WeddingWire vendor directory for restaurant suggestions. They've got some as venues, but I'm sure you can talk with some of them to make a reception happen. I'll link to it below.

If none of those strike your fancy, you can always check out the local Yelp or TripAdvisor for restaurant suggestions. I always find them and the reviews there very helpful.

Hi Stacey! Im Kourtney, I'm from Lafayette La! I'm looking into getting married at Sapphire point! Thats where i got engaged and its such a gorgeous location!

Just curious did you get to book that location? I wanted to book there but was told i had to book 6 months in advanced and our date were planning is November 9th 2019

Hi Kourney! We booked through a company called Simply Eloped and there was a few ceremony spots to choose from. Sapphire point looked amazing so we went with that one but we did book the package in December 2018.

Thats awesome you got engaged there! Any tips or suggestions about going there? Or let me know if you recommend anything else to do around that area!

Reservations for Sapphire Point fill up QUICK! Be ready the morning of with your finger on the clicker and make an account ahead of time. I think they are released at 9AM Central Time?

I booked Sapphire Point for my wedding on September 14, 2019 and by 9:30am the entire day was booked already. (we did get the time we wanted)

Sapphire Point is stunning, I'm sure you'll love it. We also got engaged there, it was perfect since Breckenridge was the first trip we took together. Sapphire Point is my favorite place to visit on trips to Breck, especially at sunrise when we usually have the place to ourselves.

As for resorts, our favorite is the Village at Breckenridge Resort, because it's just steps from all of our favorite places and we prefer to just walk everywhere. However, you can get almost anywhere on the transit system, so that may not be something you care about.

View Quoted Comment Parking can be awful during peak season and expensive, but if you are wanting to explore the area you’ll need a rental car. There’s a free lot at the ice rink with a transit stop, and most resorts have covered parking. The transit website is https://www.breckfreeride.com/routes-schedules/system-map. Hope that helps! Most of the resorts also have free shuttle service- just check what hours their shuttle runs because it may not be very late (like ending at 6pm- which in my world is dinner time so how do I get back after dinner !?!).

Omg we are planning on getting married there as well on December 31st! Super nervous about the spots filling up to quickly though 😭

Oh wow! Excited to find this forum. We are also getting married at Sapphire Point on December 14th. Everyone is right though. Make sure to reserve your spot at exactly 6 months out at 8 a.m. MST as it books really fast. We actually hired a wedding planner who specializes in small weddings (Custom Weddings of Colorado) who helped arranged our cake, flowers, photography, and vendors. We are staying in a vacation home through Paragon Lodging (they have homes specifically for wedding rentals) because it offered most of our guests a place to stay and has a free shuttle service.
