I have a year but my hair holds color like no bodies business. It takes months and a lot of money (last time I died my hair it stayed looking like I just did it for 11 months and it was $400 to get it all out) to get color out of my hair. I have a year but my hair holds color like no bodies business. It takes months and a lot of money (last time I died my hair it stayed looking like I just did it for 11 months and it was $400 to get it all out) to get color out of my hair. I really want to dye my hair a fun color again but FH thinks I might regret it when the wedding rolls around. So I was thinking about a burgundy color that is almost (not really at all) natural. My wedding colors are navy and maroon/burgundy. First picture is the color I’m thinking. Second picture is my dress and my natural color and last picture is just an example of how well my hair holds color. That red is after 6 months of only touching up the roots. What do y’all think? Should I stay natural until after the wedding? Or risk it and do the pretty purple?

Wow that colour is gorgeous (I just might snag that pic and do that to my hair)! The colour you are thinking of I think would be fabulous for the wedding and I would be surprised if you looked back on that and had regrets. The punk colour you have now you might regret because it's a very trendy look.

For a couple of years prior to my wedding I had a portion of hair that was dyed a punky colour (I would mix it up between fire engine red, hot pink, blue, or purple depending on my mood) and I made the decision to get my hair back to my normal colour by the time the wedding came around because I didn't want something so on trend in my wedding pictures. Ultimately the decision is yours and you'll rock whatever look!
