Honestly, that seems like one two many colors. Since you seem to be planning a February event, I recommend getting rid of the green. The rest can go well together though that black swatch looks more navy on my screen. Alternatively you could get rid of the purple and just do black, white, and greenery.

Luckily you have lots of time to figure this out! Also consider your venue (if you have one yet), the formality, and time of day of your event.

Thank you, I definitely want to keep some green because my ring is green.

Then go for it! You can even do greenery only for florals, which will save you money.

That’s what I was thinking, the green mostly for the greenery, black and grey is mostly just for the guys attire (I can’t get them to agree to anything else).

    Hi Georgia,

To my eye, I see the predominant colors as green and purple- both lovely and timeless, and in season for your wedding. You can play up gradients of these colors very nicely. I would avoid the tried and true eggplant or royal purple with a sharply contrasting green, and no other complimentary colors. This for some reason was a trend in the late 2000s that should stay there.

I do agree that you have black "for the guys", but what if you had a dark Navy instead? I suggest that instead of gray as a BM color, you use silver as the metallic shade for accents such as flatware, decor, and jewelry. Silver can quickly dominate a space if you aren't careful because it is very striking, and it can give off a "cold" atmosphere . Keep the metallic elements in strategic places, but ditch the gray fabric (my opinion).

I would be curious to see how you feel about other metallic shades replacing the silver like brass. Brass can bring a warmth to an otherwise cool, and jewel-toned palette.

Another idea to bring "warmth" to the cool tones is to put neutral, earth-toned elements in the mix (chairs, decor, some "pops" of color) with an earth tone like a tan, "cherry wood", or "white oak".

It might be worth considering to add variations in glassware (vidrios San Miguel for example) to dress up a table, and bring in some subtle blue-green hues into the mix.

I know I may be complicating things, but here are a few ideas:

    No worries!

I am going to send some more ideas your way. Since you seem to like darker, jewel tones and greenery, I am going to switch it up a little by showing you examples of when navy blue is a more focal color and purple the complimentary shade. There are also photos showcasing some grey and blue suit ideas.
