We are planning a combined bachelor bachelorette party. Just curious if anyone has done this. How did it go? What things did you do? Did you separate (boys and girls) for going out at night? Did parents come? Thanks in advance!!

We did this and it was awesome and everyone loved it but it only worked because my MOH and his BM planned it and they are married! (His brother and sister in law, now my in laws). Also, the majority of the wedding party was good friends from college so it was a nice little reunion. We also did separate stuff which the MOH and BM planned....the guys went to movies and dinner first, the girls threw me a lingerie shower and we had dinner then we met up downtown to do a trolley pub tour and then hit a barcade as a group. Then we had separate sleepovers Smiley smile I think it works best if the bridal party members are already friends. We also invited the SO's of the bridal party as they are in the friend group too and I didn't want any of the guys' wives to feel like they were going out to a crazy party with other girls and without them.

Not a fan myself. My bachelorette was a great experience to bond with my bridesmaids and have a great time. Plus, we went to a drag show and none of the guys would have wanted to do that but we had an absolute blast!!

I think my fiance and I are going to do a joint style party. We both agree on the mindset that the typical bachelor or bachelorette party "last night single" or "last night out without your partner" is toxic. Because you're already in a relationship so you're not single, and you can still go out with your friends without your partner.

My fiancé and I are doing ours combined. Some people were weird about it, others didn’t care. 3 of our bridesmaid/groomsmen are in serious relationships with eachother so it should be fun!
