My fiancé and I have decided to have a combined co-ed bachelor/bachelorette party. We’re inviting everyone in our bridal party and their significant others. We’re renting out a private room at Dave & Buster’s with food and games. (I should say that no, my fiancé and I are NOT paying for any portion of it.)

Personally, I think it’ll be a lot of funny especially because our bridal party doesn’t really know each other. What does everyone think?

Yeah, I actually found out it’s becoming more and more popular! One of my bridesmaids actually suggested it to me originally and I loved it

We wanted a coed party but only to travel together and grab breakfast together. We’re olanning on Vegas but chose different weekends. I wouldn’t want the parties completely together, to me it defeats the point of a bachelorette and bachelor party. Plus i want to have a girls weekend.

At my MOH's bachelorette party (I was her MOH) we actually met up with the guys at the strip club after our drinks and dinner, hung out there for a little bit and then all went and did karaoke. My FH is sooo uncomfortable with strip clubs and half the guys were super happy to get out of there...or so they said.

“My maid of honor and I planned it” is what you said above. So.. you did plan it? I’m always confused when people plan their own events and then don’t pay for it. I like the concept of having a laid back party for the bridal party, just not sure about all the logistics that are going into this plan.

I think it's an awesome idea! A couple that I'm friends with were MOH and Best Man in a wedding recently and they did the same thing.

It's actually something I considered because both sides of our bridal parties are friends, and we all enjoy hanging out but the guys wanted to go paintballing and fishing (I'm not really into that) and the girls wanted to go somewhere for a weekend so we decided to do it separately!

First off, no one here is mad. At least I’m not. I’ve just found that a lot of things get really read into on here. I guess I should’ve been more specific about who was planning and doing what. But I’m not going to sit here and defend myself, it’s just stupid.

But please understand that I am open to other people’s opinion, ones that I do and do not agree with. What I don’t particularly enjoy is when people comment nonsense for no reason. That’s all I was trying to communicate.

My fiance and I are planning on going to Cedar Point for our bachelor and bachelorette parties.

We're also paying for our own tickets, though, and will contribute to gas/food/parking/hotel room.

I've been to a combined bachelor and bachelorette party before in Amsterdam. It was fine.

My best friend is getting married and they had a joint party, it was fun and everybody had a good time. But make sure you figure out expenses beforehand. I got stuck paying for everything and didn’t get paid back.
