Idk guys, I'm not about walking out to here comes the bride... is that weird? If not, how long should my song be at least.

I'm walking out to "Can't help falling in love with you" by Elvis. It will be played by our cellist. Really excited about that one.

I won't be. I was advised that whatever you choose, make sure it's just instrumental. Music with words can be distracting to guests.

I have joked around about walking down the aisle to the 1812 Overture...

I have also never been to a wedding where the bride walked down to here comes the bride. Find a cute love song and go with what you like.

Kiss the Rain by Yurrma. My pianist is going to adjust it to the right length so it won't be to long Smiley smile

I've not been to a wedding in the last 20 years where the bride walked to that.

@Ashley H. - Because it's not a piece of sacred music. A lot of churches require ceremony music to be sacred, or, at the very least, "neutral" (an instrumental piece with no words and no secular context). "Here Comes the Bride" is from Wagner's opera Lohengrin, which is a dark romance. Not all churches have this rule, but a lot do.

My mom (jokingly) refused to come to my wedding if I walked to that song. I ended up using John Stanley's Trumpet Voluntary. The bridal party walked to Highland Cathedral played on the bagpipes.

Not weird. That song annoys me tbh. I think I will be doing Canon in D myself...but you can do any song you like!

I haven't heard 'here comes the bride' in years.

    Pick something you love.

I'm hearing a lot of "I can't help falling in love with you", different versions. The theme from Jurassic Park, believe it or not; there are some amazing movie themes. I walked down to the theme from "Out of Africa"......

No offense but I can't stand 1000 years or "I think I want to marry you" (like really, by this time, you should be sure....

I'm coming out to "latch" by Sam Smith, at FH's request

@Celia. Same! That is the worst wedding song IMO.

Walking down the aisle to Orbital's "Halcyon on and on" .. its the song my fiancé had on when he proposed and a song we both love. The first 2 minutes of it is so tranquil and gives me all the feels. Smiley smile
