Hello. I have a question about spreading the word about HoneyFund. I have decided to go with HF for my wedding registry however, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about how they communicated HF to their guests? Did you include info on your HF registry in your wedding invitations (I heard this is tacky but, hey, if it works!) Did anyone use a wedding day display where people can drop in their cards of money/checks in? I have HF on my wedding website but I was just wondering if there was anything else I can do to get the word out, especially for guests who aren't as computer savvy. Thanks!

I like that this had two comments, then I answered a couple texts from my mom, and now it has 42.

WhitWhit, so if someone were like "I'm going to flip everyone off at the end of my ceremony, because it's hilarious, what's the best way to do that?"

You REALLY don't think someone should step in, and say "Thats a bad idea" instead of contemplating the best way to flip off her guests?

Also, we can't force her to do or not do something, but dammit we can give relevant advice.

@WhitWhit627 - I am going to put my toe up the butt of each of my guests. How do I communicate to them that they should come without pants?

If when people are looking for advice, no one tells them they are doing something bad, they won't know it's bad!

@WhitWhit627, I would rather someone warn me its tacky than let me continue on my way and look tacky in front of my friends and family. Its like if someone has spinach in their teeth, do you politely let them know or let them have it in all day.

@m She's not saying she's going to flip people off now is she? She's asking about getting word out about her honeyfund. She's not talking about disrespecting people so try another example. Just because many here don't care for the Honeyfund doesn't mean her crowd thinks it tacky or disagree with it. Majority vote on a wedding website doesn't mean she shouldn't do it. Sorry opinions on here don't constitute for a large percentage of the opinions in this world. Again she wasn't asking should she, she's asking HOW should she get the word out. Th

Literally asking someone for money is flipping them off metaphorically, yes. So, your point?

Your debate skills are sorely lacking.

@WhitWhit627, but it is rude. Etiquette dictates you don't ask for cash.

If she wants cash she doesn't register anywhere and people will infer she wants cash.

And there's a whole world of toe fetishists out there! That doesn't make what they do socially acceptable to do in public.

Rude is rude. It doesn't stop being rude because you got a certain number of your friends in to it.
