Conference Room Rehearsal Dinner

So our hotel gave us free access to their conference room as a part of their hotel block package thing so we are using it for both the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. BUT of course it LOOKS like a conference room...why do they have to be so ugly?! Who tf designs these things? Lol. Anyway, The rehearsal is going to be super casual probably just ordering barbecue or something similar. I know when the grand scheme of things it probably won't matter...just looking for simple ideas/suggestions on decorating it without it clashing... Anyone else do this? Photo below is only like 1/3 of the room. ETA our wedding colors are navy, peach, gold

    I truly would just leave it. There will be so mych going on with regards to the actual wedding day and guests arriving that I would make RD as simple as possibke. Have yummy food and drinks your guests will enjoy. Make it easy on yourself!

    The same with my venue. The reception is in a conference room at the hotel. But they offer to decorate it and make it pretty so i am leaving it to them

    Ask for pics of previous weddings in that room. It will give you ideas

    If you are going casual with the food, I would go casual with the decor. Kraft paper on top of the hotel white banquet cloths would be fun.

    Buy navy blue bandanas at the dollar store for napkins.

    Oooh good idea! I was worried the paper or plastic tablecloth rolls were going to look cheap but that Brown paper looks awesome! Thanks Muriel!
