Conflicting reports

They're a total scam. My friend ordered her dress from there and it was a cheap knock-off, probably made by children.

This isn't going to help with the confliction you get, but my mom ordered a nontraditional "wedding" dress from JJ house in January and it looked fantastic - this is the picture. It is beaded and has a strappy back. I think they key with JJ House is that you have to adjust your expectations. If you pay for a $100 dress, you cannot expect the quality of a $300 dress. My mom just ordered her MOB dress from there as well. I will report back when it comes in.

It's really hit or miss and you'll honestly get mixed reviews no matter where you go (I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear). Some people get fantastic items and some get items that look like they came out of a crackerjack box. One consistent complaint that I've seen is that it takes a long time. I wouldn't personally take the risk if it was something I needed last minute.

I'd guess it's slave or child labor. They rip off real designers dresses, and are essentially a cheap knockoff. Pretty shitty business model.
