Confused on Flower-Maid Dress

MrsS2013, on July 10, 2013 at 12:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5

I call her the flower maid since she's too old for flower girl and I'm not having bridesmaids, so I combined the 2...anyways, I can't figure out the color of her dress. I initially thought i wanted a deep red, it is her favorite color and goes with our theme, but I keep thinking she'll stand out big time!

The wedding is 50s style with black and white, pops of red. I have a white dress with black polka dots (see pic) and MOH is white blouse, black skirt with white dots and a red belt. FH will be in jeans and a b/w shirt (pic) and best man in jeans with black shirt, red accents (pic).

The dress in polka dots is the pattern I picked out since i can’t find dresses this style in the stores. I’m torn between a red dress and white sash, or white dress with red sash. Her flowers are white hydrangea with 3 red rose buds. It’s a tiny wedding, 15 people max. in Vegas. Will her dress matter that much with so few people? (Her dress idea and bouquet is next post.)

Flower maid's idea, her dress style is the polka dot one.

I think she would look cute in a red dress with white polka dots.

Just a thought...what about a white top, red with white polka dot skirt and plain red sash?

Oh, I just had a flashback to a dress I had -- top was red with white dots, skirt was white with hem border of same fabric as top (red w/white dots).
