Confused with my makeup look

I think you look lovely and I personally wouldn't waste money on another trial if all you want is one minor change.

Honestly i think you better without makeup!! you are so beautiful! all i saw i was fake eyelashes in the car pic.. like that's where my eyes were drawn too. instead of your face as a whole... but that's just my opinion

I think your makeup looks great! I don’t think you need to waste your money doing another trial. If you want your shadow a little lighter, just tell your MUA. But again, I think it looks great as is.

Overall, I think it looks nice, but agree the eyelashes seem a bit bold, even for a wedding look, and the brows seem a bit dark and overpowering in the engagement photo. You are gorgeous, with beautiful natural features, so I think if you can ask her to tone it down a little, you'll still have a lovely "wedding look" while not going too far from your natural beauty. In my opinion the lighting does have an effect of how your makeup looks, so I would say don't spend your money to do another trial, but do agree to mention to your artist the day of stick with the same look that was done only to do it a bit lighter.

You look gorgeous both with and without makeup! If you loved how it looked in the car then I think just lightening the lashes (which is probably where the darker bit is coming from - it can create a black line at the base) should do the trick.

Looking at the actual color of your eyeshadow, the highlights already look pretty light, so I think your assessment in person is accurate that it is a good pick!!

I totally agree with Jessica! Beautiful in both...I don't think you need to change the eyeshadow - just a tad less dramatic lashes, and you'll be fine. I think the photo lighting is a bit darker anyway, and that's probably what's happening. I think the MUA did a great job of accentuating your natural features, and i don't think you look completely different....just a bridal version of the same beautiful lady!
