Confused with my makeup look

When I saw my fiancé it took him a while to process it AHAH! He's like you look beautiful with and without just trying to process cus he barely sees me with makeup. Def gonna do more natural..she did an amazing job but think a more natural look is more me. Thank you for the feedback!

I personally think you should look like the best version of your authentic self on your wedding day. If you are normally a no makeup gal, I think a lighter approach would be a better choice and more representative of who you are. You look gorgeous with the glam makeup, but if it isn't "you" then it isn't you!

I don't wear makeup often and started experimenting a bunch after my husband and I got engaged. Covid ended up messing up our wedding plans, so I ended up never getting to do a makeup trial and had to do my own makeup for my elopement and was glad I had practiced. I was really worried the MUA would overdo my makeup, as most of my "low fuss, low makeup" friends have had issues getting the MUA to tone it down for their wedding days. Since MUAs do full faces of makeup all the time, a light handed approach for them often is still a lot of product for us fresh-faced gals.

In your shoes wouldn't pay $140 for another trial, but I would ask your MUA to go a lot softer for your wedding day. None of what she did looks bad, so I feel like you'll either get a similar look or a look with more toned down eyes and lashes, which would look more natural. The brows, lip color, and base look amazing, I just think the eyes are perhaps more dramatic than I would go for if you are normally a no makeup gal.

Also your professional photographer might process photos a bit differently and that alone might brighten up your faces and eyes. In the photo your sister took there is very little shadow detail. Depending on your photographers processing style, you might find that the makeup doesn't look as dark. If your photographer's style tends to be more "moody" with darker tones, the result might look similar, but if your photography has a bright, airy, high key style you'll likely see more detail in your faces.

You look very nice in makeup, but look even more beautiful without it!!! This is just my opinion, but the foundation looks a bit dark and the eyelashes are too dramatic for your eyes. Please don't take it the wrong way.
