Contemporary Christian Recessional

Courtney, on January 17, 2021 at 10:40 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
My fiancé and I have opted to do traditional music for the prelude and recessional but wanted to do a bit nontradional for the recessional. It is a Christian ceremony so I wanted to use a contemporary Christian song but have been having trouble finding one that is upbeat enough. Any suggestions on some Christian recessional songs?

Are you marrying in a church? They may have restrictions on what you can and cannot use. Otherwise do a search on youtube for contemporary Christian wedding music

Check out “Happy” by Tasha Cobbs. It’s a gospel song about a relationship with Christ, but the words could easily translate to feelings in a romantic relationship. It was my first choice for our recessional song, but I didn’t end up using it only because my now husband chose the recessional song.

Hi Courtney! What about “Multiplier” by needtobreathe? Or “Thankful For You” by Toby Mac??

I like the "Amen/This Little Light of Mine" version from Prince Harry's wedding as a recessional.
