Cookie Table

We're doing a cookie table at our wedding (it's a Pittsburgh thing if you haven't heard of it) and I'm using the cookies as my favors. For those of you that have done this, did you pre-bag/box the cookies or let guests bag them on their own? I feel like it takes away from the point of the cookie...

This is a really cute idea! I like the idea of letting guests choose their own!

Mary, some are family recipes, like a chocolate cherry cookie and a Ritz cracker cookie. We are also having lemon tassies, heart shaped sugar cookies with icing in our colors, peanut butter blossoms, macaroons, Italian wedding cookies, lady locks, peaches, white chocolate macadamia, chocolate chip, mint chocolate, and Italian wedding cookies. Chocolate covered pretzels and mini cheesecakes aren't cookies but they will be on there also. That's what we have right now, if anybody says they want to make something else, they won't be turned down haha.

Definitely put them out to display. That way for someone, like me, who can't wait until they get home then they can eat them there after a few drinks and others can take some home. The more variety of cookies the better. I can't imagine anyone saying, "they had way too many cookie choices at their wedding." Lol

Shout out to Pittsburgh brides and cookie lovers of all kinds! FH & I are both from Pittsburgh, and we're definitely doing a cookie table at our Maui wedding! Mostly Girl Scout cookies, but also from local bakeries. We plan on having little paper bags for our guests to pack their own.
