Cool diy Himmeli Decor

Samantha, on October 18, 2018 at 3:17 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 10

Hi all, just wanted to share a resource - I made three of these wreaths and a bunch of the geometric spheres for my centerpieces in just a few hours. Pics aren't my results, but from the tutorials. Spent $20 total on a pack of coffee stirring black straws (Amazon), florist/jeweler's wire (1/2 off at AC Moore), and metallic spray paint.

If anyone wants to try it and gets confused, the video tutorial is great, but I can also give advice Smiley smile

Wow that’s really cool! I’ve seen those before but I wouldn’t have ever considered being able to make them myself!

Same - that's why I shared! They're gorg, but usually very expensive. My florist tells me I'm very "on-trend," which I never dreamed I'd be with a DIY budget.

I am going there terrarium route with my centerpieces and they do tend to cost a fortune! I thought about making these but was worried about having to travel with them. found a wholesale site with some for $8/PC though so I'm just gonna order those and have them shipped directly to my FILs so they can take them to thr florist when we get closer

Gorgeous!! They'll look so good. I had plenty of time on my hands and very little budget to spare, but I'm hoping they do the trick Smiley smile

I ended up with three wreaths and ten orbs - debating making other shapes or sizes. I also have fairy lights to string through them, then I'll post a picture!

Here we go! My final product - I got frustrated with stringing the lights but obviously I'll make it look nicer within the next month.... The greenery will go in the middle or around the base to cover the light switch. The lights are from Amazon, have seen them on Wish for $1.

Do you mind sharing the wholesale website that you are using We are dong the terrariums as well and we've found a few at TJ Maxx and stuff but they will add up if we try to buy them all from there for our reception!
