Has anyone found a place in the DC area that rents copper mugs? My fiance and I have decided on a Moscow Mule for our signature cocktail and they're typically served in a copper mug but the only places I can find that rent them are in California and New England. They're way too expensive to purchase and not sure what we would do with 100 copper mugs anyway.

    Is that the only alcoholic beverage you are having? If not, I would think it would be a stretch for 100 people to be drinking Mules at once...

    After discussing this with our regal company they informed me most won't do it since guests tend to treat the mugs like favors and take them. We're doing regular bar glasses with striped straws! Best we could do.

    I bought 120 from china for my wedding. I intended to resell them but my bartender told people they were favors!!! beware - especially if you are renting them. Also our moscow mules ran out in 45 minutes - make sure you have way way more than you think you need.
