Cork board to Chalkboard

Has anyone applied chalkboard adhesive to a cork board?

If so, was it successful? Or did it come out bumpy?Also did it adhere well to the cork? Were you able to remove it easily later or did it destroy the board when removing?

Maybe you can apply it to the back side of the Cork board.

Why would you want to remove it? If you're looking to make a chalkboard, I think I'd just either buy a cheap one, or buy a plexi-glass frame and paint that with chalkboard.
