Hi future brides. I am wondering if the coronavirus is interfering with your honeymoon plans?

Funny how things happened for us. We get married early June and I really wanted to go to Italy. The fiancé didn’t want to go for the honeymoon, but as another trip so we are doing an Alaskan cruise. Thankful we didn’t plan an Italy trip but definitely keeping an eye on things in the cruise word!

We were also planning to do Bali via the same route! Luckily, I wasn't ready to commit to making reservations (to FH's dismay), so we aren't losing anything. But now we're not sure what or whether to book for our honeymoon.

Anyone concerned about their venue cancelling or if we are restricted from having social gatherings like Italy? Have you discussed with your venue?

Our honeymoon is in Seattle, which happens to have many cases... we're still planning on going unless our flights or airbnbs get canceled!

Coronavirus is affecting the wedding. Marrying in a week and half and my Grandparents have cancelled. I can't blame them because I care for their safety because they are both over 70. They have to travel on a plane to get to here. Damn this virus.

Yup we were supposed to be going to Mexico end of next month, but I won’t book anything. So we might just go during our dating anniversary in August.

Thinking of doing the same thing. We are supposed to go in July. It's further out but its hard to commit to booking anything because of how things are currently. I think we're just gonna postpone it for our 1 year anniversary instead and try Greece, or somewhere else.

I guess yes and wedding it now has been postponed twice and we have set a tentative 3 4 5 and 6 date just if we have to. It’s funny a virus that has not even killed as many as the flue freezing in winter or anything of note can be distrusted so much

My husband and I planned for the same. Do you have concerns about Greece now? We are trying to figure out if we should still plan to go to Greece this May for 2 weeks or if we should postpone all together so we can reschedule to do italy/greece end of the summer or early fall

Yes, I totally agree. I think the cases will start declining within the next month too! Hope you are able to still go ❤️. I was in Italy a year ago and it was breathtaking!

Me and my FH planned our honeymoon to Greece last June, so it’s been our dream for awhile now. We are also scheduled to leave this May, and I have been doing a lot of research. There are currently no travel restrictions there currently.

Also, the virus is not supposed to do well in 80 degree weather, so I think it should be fine. 🤞🏻

Thank you. We have never been and chose Florence because it was quiet and less tourists. I hope we can still go too!
