I'm getting married on June 6th. Not super worried. I'm just preparing myself for some of my out of town family to cancel. 😭

I’m a June bride, getting married no matter what. Even if it’s to the courthouse.

Yep. I sobbed a few times today. I trying to have faith and wait it out, but we may have no choice but to push it to May if the venue falls through.

We're in June and yes. The state we're getting married in has no cases - which would normally be cause for celebration. However, what that really means is that it hasn't hit yet. Which means that the influx there will be later. I don't know how late, but they have zero cases. After their first one pops up, I think it takes about a month to go crazy. And then time for it to settle down. We haven't peaked yet.... gulp.

June Bride here... I’m not necessarily worried right now. Our venue or vendors haven’t canceled on us. We live in Northern California. I’m praying the outbreak is contained in the next few weeks.

Getting married on June 12th and I am worried. I came to this forum to settle my nerves. No calls or anything from my vendors. I'm thinking of contacting them later on if they have any plans in case things get worse.
My FH keeps telling me it will be okay. And the other brides here seem to agree. So that gives me hope!

I’m June 27. Not too worried. I think we are taking much greater steps towards containment and (sooner) than overseas. 12 cases here and all are linked to overseas travel. No community to community spread. Maybe I’m naive...but we have over 3 months here..

June 6 here! and the worrying just hit me today. I feel like it will get worse until it get's better. I just hope they don't require more restrictions. But as long as our venue does not cancel we shall continue on day by day. Sending all of you ladies positive vibes and well wishes to all of those who are getting married before me!

June 13th here, and I've been a mess off and on for the last few weeks. We're getting married in our home state of NC, but have a lot of family coming from Ohio, Georgia, etc. Some of our closest friends actually live overseas as well (Belgium and Toronto) so the fear is real. A lot of our local friends have been reassuring (as has my FH). Most people I mention it too aren't too worried either, and the consensus seems to be that things will be more under control by then.

Honestly, I really believe it'll have improved a lot by June. I'd be gutted for our guest list to be slashed. People say, "it's not about the wedding, it's about the marriage!" and that's absolutely true, but come on, with years of planning? Don't make us feel vain or selfish because we've put our hearts into this event that we want to share with our families and friends.

Yes!!! Mine is June 13 and people keep telling me it'll be fine by then, but we really can't be sure!! I live in Westchester, NY. Our wedding is local, but the biggest outbreak in NY so far is in a city here in Westchester. And it's NY, it'll definitely get worse!! Our guest list is 80, with majority local, but a few family coming from Washington state which is the hardest hit state right now. At this point, we're gonna see where everything is at in another month and go from there. We may just be postponing it for another year😞 Luckily, we won't be losing out on any money. We're having a DIY wedding at our local VFW Post and we can get our deposit back and we'll just reschedule with our photographer. We don't have any other vendors, as my MUA is my maid of honor/best friend and my DJ is my cousin. I'm just sad about getting this close, to potentially having to wait even longer.

I am absolutely terrified and haven’t been able to sleep! Our wedding is June 27, and we already have all the invitations for the wedding and the rehearsal dinner. I saw all the wedding stuff in our guest room and started crying today! I feel guilty being so anxious and afraid of my wedding being cancelled in light of how truly devastating this virus can be for others.

Also worried! My wedding is June 20 in NY. I’m worried as NYS is the worst as of right now and all schools around me are closed for at least the next week two and most colleges for the semester. I know these are precautions they are taking for social distancing and containment. The uncertainty worries me as no one knows how this will pan out. I’m worried people will not come who originally would’ve. I haven’t sent out invitations yet but was planning on sending them early/mid April. I’ve contacted my venue to come up with a plan B in case of postponement. Just not sure when to make the decision. I will wait the month and see how everything evolves. And in the interim i plan on working with my vendors to see if everyone by chance can make a later happen.

I have moments where I feel both so extremely sad from the unknown, and positive that it will have improved by our June 13 wedding. Our venue and most family is in Northern California (Sacramento) but we do have guests coming from Oregon, Vegas, and Washington. My FH’s grandmother is 91 years old in generally good health and it would be so upsetting if she couldn’t come out of fear of becoming ill. It has really prevented me from feeling motivated or wanting to continue on with any sort of planning or preparations- I feel so overwhelmed and stressed. These forums are helping tho in knowing that we are Definitely not alone in this.

My daughter’s wedding is June 13. We are getting ready to order the invitations. I’m wondering if we go ahead and order them with the June 13 date and then send something out later if we have to postpone? Do we include something in the invitation to alert guests things may change? Or do we postpone it now? How are other June brides handling their invitations ?
