Thank you I hope the best for you also! We are postponing my daughter’s shower for now but may do an online/virtual bridal shower if we can’t have a regular one. Did you order your wedding invitations yet?

Actually the online shower is a great idea!! No I have not ordered them yet! Which lord knows what will come in the next months. So it's just a matter of when to pull the trigger on the invites.

We are going to wait a little longer to order the invites. I’m leaning towards sending them and then sending a card out later if it has to be postponed - also we will put information on her wedding website. I think the virtual shower is a great alternative.

June 27th, everything is pretty much DIY aside from officiant, our photographer, and catering. Having ceremony/reception at a family private location. And we will be maybe 75ppl max. I'm not too worried yet. If anything we may need to reschedule our Honeymoon which would be after the 4th of july on the 5th to FL till the 11th.

Well, we officially postponed ours till next year. I cried my eyes out and am heartbroken, but it was for the best and our guests agree it's a smart decision. There's too much uncertainty right now and this is also affecting people financially. We've been together almost 10 years, so what's one more year? I'm choosing to look at the positives, like having another year to save money which will allow us to have things like a complete open bar instead of just beer & wine. We must all stay positive during these times. I was also lucky enough to have my deposits go towards the new date so I'm not losing out on any money. We will make it through this ladies!

Have you talked to your venue - what are they recommending?

Hi! I am getting married (hopefully) on June 14. I have been worried sick about all of this, because it's so hard to tell what will happen. If things get worse, we could be social distancing for a very long time. I talked with all of my vendors about their rescheduling policies, and I talked with my venue about a backup date. They were very kind to allow us to select a backup date, should we need to postpone the wedding. Our backup date is June 13, 2021, so a whole year out from the original date. It would really suck to have to wait that long, but I really want to be able to have the dream wedding I've planned for all this time. I'd rather wait and get the perfect day than try to rush and make the wedding happen if its not safe or not everyone can be there.

Hope you find your way, and that all of our weddings are safe! Smiley heart

I am. Nearly everything is paid off, my dress isn't in yet, and the governor just banned gatherings of 25+ people.
Thankfully, I have a decent amount in savings to keep us afloat if the plant my FH and I work in has to shut down. If we go ahead with the ceremony anyways, we plan on live streaming it for friends and family who couldn't come.

We are 6/27/20 and while I truly hope this is gone by then we put a tentative hold with our vendors and our venue for 8/2. It’s a “soft hold” so we are able to keep our 6/27 and basically just have a contingency plan in place.

We moved our June 27 to August 7... It wss worth it for the stress to be over. We put an announcement on our website and are emailing everyone with the change. We also opted to use greenvelope for our invites so we could send them out later. Online rsvps are part of their package. Overall that cuts weeks out of waiting to figure things out. I love it. Summer wedding here we come!!

Hi, Vegas is officially closed until April 20th. When I called (a week ago) my coordinator- they said that all June weddings were still on but I could reschedule if i wanted to. So I am going to wait and see how April goes. But on my online invitations, I made a paged titled, "Corona virus" and essentially said that people should do what is best for them and their families. If they want to cancel; to do so guilt free - we understand. I wont make the call until end of April - early May.

Same! We're June 27th too. Are you going to go ahead and send out your invites? Our wedding is out of town (only and hour and a half away, but still out of town and most will have to get hotel rooms) so I was planning to send invites next week, but I'm kind of torn on if I should hold off or go ahead and send them!

    Hi all,

I live in NJ and have reached the conclusion that I have to reschedule my wedding however the venue is giving us a lot of issues. They're trying to force us to reschedule a saturday june evening wedding to a week day. Is anyone facing similar issues?

It’s very uncertain and unfortunately not leaning in our favor but I’m holding out hope until 5/27.
