Coronavirus postponed- wedding website

Jannie, on March 27, 2020 at 4:40 AM Posted in Account Support 0 4
Hey Ladies. I unfortunately had to postpone my May 2 wedding due to it being a destination wedding with the virus going on. Me and my fiancé felt that theres too much chaos and sadness for us to even pick a date, as we don't know when things will get better. I let all my guests know the date is TBD once the world is in a better place, everyone understood and is being supportive. I was also able to get everyone a refund.

I want to update my wedding website as well to indicate this but I cannot find a way to change my previous wedding date. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Hi There, going through this too. Our wedding was planned for June 13 but we had to postpone to July 2021. That being said, our minted wedding website allows us to add different pages, so we added an "UPDATES" page with the following message:

    PLEASE SAVE OUR (NEW) DATE
    "Dear Family and Friends:

We've been watching the coronavirus situation very closely, and out of concern for the health of our guests, we've made the painful decision to postpone our wedding in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
We hope you'll be able to celebrate with us on our new date: Saturday, July 17th, 2021.

Please understand that this heartbreaking decision is one we never expected to have to make, but it is nowhere near as heartbreaking as the idea of putting our loved ones at risk.

When it comes down to it, marriage is a commitment and a wedding is a party that can be rescheduled, so that is the route we have decided to take.

    Moving Forward:

    - The only change made to our wedding is the new date. All other details including the venue location and ceremony start time remains the same.

    - Please submit your new RSVP here on our website to confirm you are aware of the date change and are able to celebrate with us!"
