Hi everyone!
Just wanted to share some positive news in the midst of all the chaos. My husband and I have been together since 2013 and have been planning our wedding since 2018. The very first decision we made the day we got engaged was our wedding date, March 21st, 2020. The week of our wedding we had to make the decision to cancel or postpone which is obviously not a position anyone wants to be in. Our venue was so thoughtful and had already blocked off 9/26/20 for us in anticipation of having to postpone. My husband and I decided postponing our marriage was not an option but we were okay with postponing the wedding (especially since everything was paid for). All of our vendors were luckily able to just transfer from March to September and we had a small ceremony with our parents and two friends on the date we had chosen to be married. We could not be happier to finally be married or to still get to have a celebration with our friends and family later on. Our tiny wedding was absolutely perfect, even though it was not what we planned. Hope everyone is staying safe and is able to have their perfect wedding one way or another!
