Just Said Yes March 2021

Coronavirus/ Wedding

Let’s start off with saying that this virus has triggered my sever OCD to the point where I wash my hands several several times and have to wipe everything and anything down before sitting, touching and can literally feel germs on me(I know sounds crazy) This virus has made me not be excited about my wedding and cry every single day because idk if I shoulD cancel it. It’s about 200-250 people(hopefully) and it will be tight. It’s on March 21st in Omaha. Where there has been 6 cases already. I don’t know what next weekend will bring and idk what to do. I will be having some out of town guests that will be driving here but I still don’t know what I should do. I’m anxious and while I want to cancel for everybodys health and my own, my family and fiance think it’s ridiculous and I should continue... I need help or advice! Please...

Don't not worry. As long as you continue to keep everything sanitized you are fine. If you have to purchase additional hand sanitizer for the ceremony or reception do that. Believe
That everything will be ok. Think about the reason why you are getting married. I hope this helps.

My wedding is May 24th in Omaha as well. Half of our guest are traveling by plane. The other half are traveling by car. We will be having the wedding unless there is a city/state/federal mandate that stops us. I full expect we will have a lower turnout because of this, but I am not worried about that. I will be marrying my best friend that day in a gorgeous dress and have an absolutely wonderful day. I am choosing not to stress about things out of my control.

Think at this point you can reconfirm with all your guests if you want to feel assured but whoever ends up cancelling due to risk and discomfort and stuff then it is what it is but I would move forward with it unless literally most of your guests can’t come
