Coronavirus=pure Panic

My wedding is 5/2/2020. My county just shut down for two weeks. I’m in a state of panic, this is not something you think you need to prepare for when wedding planning. It sure if I’m over or under freaking out here. Anyone else??

    Could please leave me alone. I'm sorry I posted it. I have enough to deal with. Since I can't even get into a doctor or therapist because people are panicking and I'm having issues my PTSD. And no one, and I repeat no one seems to want to make appointments right now. So just stop. I just done right now.

    Dude, you posted the inaccurate statement. Surely you realize the value of accuracy in the midst of panic, and for some life or death. Knowledge and education are our friend. I'll leave you alone now lol. Good luck!

    And surely you don't understand what it's like to be denied medical care because people are being ridiculous and think they need to see a therapist for the pandemic. Do you know what it's like to have daily panic attacks because you can't get help. NO you don't

    And then to lol at this. Wow

    The LOL is that you posted a link to try and back-up your inaccurate claim - that clearly states the opposite. Sorry, but I found that really funny. Good luck Kelsey...., seriously I'm sorry about your panic attacks. I hope you are able to get the medical care you need and absolutely deserve.

    We talked to our vendors, and a lot of them seemed to expect us to move the date. Our bakery lady even had a good friend of hers cancel theirs this morning. We're going to probably elope after breaking the news to our parents, then have our bigger ceremony in August. It's a huge relief to have most of them onboard - no word from the dj, but I expect the same. I honestly say, it sucks but we want our family to enjoy the day with us. So postponing seems like the only way for everyone to be able to celebrate with us without worry about a pandemic. It is what it is. I don't like it, but we may just have to wait for the time when things settle down.

    Mine is on 3/28/20! Literally 2 weeks from now. My father in law just barely made it out of Spain (he lives there) before the travel ban took effect. Now the concern is, should he quarantine? Should he get tested? Then about 3 days before the wedding, my fiances grandparents are flying in from Peru. They are all going to be in the same house together! I don't know what to do or how to tell my fiance whats the best thing to do regarding the health of HIS family. None of them seem too worried about it. THIS SUCKS!!!!

    Wow it is a small world. I also went to NOLA in February for my bachelorette, we’re on the same wave length here. Unfortunately we dint have wedding insurance and no where is covering this pandemic anyway. Hoping things get better soon, for all of us!

    It is! I work in a Drs office and we had like 4 patients give or take all day. Even had a few call and cancel because of it. Our schools are shut down for the next 2-3 weeks,grocery stores are out of a lot of stuff. It's crazy!! I always do my grocery shopping on Fridays and there was hardly anything.

    I’m supposed to get married next weekend. As of right now it’s a “day to day” call. I’m going to be really bummed if it gets cancelled on Friday.

    I am in a similar situation! Our wedding isn't until 5/23/2020... but my fiance is from Spain and his whole family was planning on coming to the States a week before. After our wedding here, we all are going to Madrid to do a second wedding! Then my fiance and I are taking a transatlantic cruise from Barcelona to New York City, for our honeymoon. I have been planning this all for so long and now it seems to all be crumbling away. I don't know what to do! I know I could say all of the most comforting words to you now and it wouldn't help. At least that is where I am at. No amount of reassurance is making this situation any better. The only thing I want is a giant crystal ball for all of us brides! I want to be able to see into the future and see if this pandemic gets better anytime soon. If it just worsens and travel continues to be restricted, I'd almost rather reschedule.

    My wedding is the same day and my honeymoon flight to Europe is 5/4. I just keep playing wait and see, but it really makes me sad that I even have to consider postponing the wedding.
