Dedicated June 2021

Coronavirus=pure Panic

My wedding is 5/2/2020. My county just shut down for two weeks. I’m in a state of panic, this is not something you think you need to prepare for when wedding planning. It sure if I’m over or under freaking out here. Anyone else??

    Not a bad idea. We rescheduled to 8-8-20 but went ahead and got legally married on May 2nd original date. Now husbands job isn’t wanting to let him off for the 8-8-20 rescheduled date! I’m like, you have got to be kidding me! I do NOT want to change the date again! I’m to that point of giving up on the big ceremony or pushing it out to 1st anniversary!

    Exactly ❤️ April 18 was my wedding date & my venue actually canceled on me so I’m now a March 2020 wedding. I’m happy I did reschedule I would have been devastated if I didn’t and my family and friends got sick.

    I REALLY hope so. This back and forth is so draining. We will get through and have a beautiful day with our forever person.

    That’s about when I finally gave up. From May 22 to Aug 21st and no end in sight for no large gatherings. So I gave up and re-sched for 5/21/21. We are doing our 10 person max ceremony on our original date of 5/22/20 though. I will be so relieved when this is all over. Hope you get his job situation worked out. I feel like once this corona thing started, it’s been one set back or problem after the other. Good luck! And Congrats.

    I hope at our 1 year, things will be better. I’m almost 51 and getting married for the first time. Not how I dreamed my “Big Day” would be.
    Thank you!!!!!

    My fiancé is a Truck driver and all of our planning, even down to getting our license has been so crazy. I keep telling him, make sure he keeps reminding his boss he needs to be back home!!! Lol. It would suck to get stuck somewhere delivering the day he’s supposed to be getting married.

    I hope so too. I’m 40 but this my second marriage. Just went to courthouse with first so really disappointed when it didn’t go as planned this time! But like all our friend say, the Anniversaries are more special than wedding day!!! So at least we have that to look forward to!!

    Yeah. I’m counting on our 1st, especially b/c we can’t really even do a real honeymoon this summer. Trying to find at least a weekend cabin getaway someplace local. Otherwise we might have to 14day quarantine crossing state lines in either direction depending on what State we look at going to.

    Yes, that is exactly what I am going through as well. What is up with these hairstylists and make up artists? Who do they think they are? If you have the address report them to the better business bureau. And just hit the reviews. These people deserve no business, after how they are treating brides who are already in an extremely tough spot.

    Yes! I hope the government hits them come tax season when they realize the revenue still came in during the pandemic despite being “closed” and they get stuck paying back the loan we paid them with our tax dollars.
