I think the corsets are the prettiest but I am so glad I got a dress with a zipper. I don’t need that struggle while I’m getting ready! I want to spend more time hanging with my mom and bridesmaids and less time having ribbons tied. I think buttons would take a while too although my bustle is buttons so my moh will have to do them during the cocktail hour.

Corset, corset, corset! They're so pretty and I feel better after being "tucked" if that makes sense. I also don't have to worry much about undergarments.

Team corset. I love how they look. Reception dress has a zipper but for ceremony and pictures I wanted that corset. Plus it allowed my dress to fit perfectly without alterations needed. Win win.

I am leaving towards a zipper lined with buttons. I love the buttons down the back but have ZERO patience to actually button all those buttons lol

I’m going corset for mine as well as the bridesmaids

i think it’s more forgiving for women as we can fluctuate a few pounds here and there, but it will be a perfect fit regardless

i think the time invested is worth the overall effect and feel of the dress

My dress sorta has a zipper and lace up back. It like zips to above my hips and it’s completely hidden by tule, then it goes into a corset, which takes so little time when my friend (a bm) does it and it looks so nice! My mom tried once and struggled a bit haha practice makes perfect lol

I had buttons. I loved the look, but I didn’t go in to dress shopping dreaming of them specifically. They were kind of a pain though— they meant every time I wanted to try the dress on at home (checking jewelry and nail color ideas), I could only get it half on. Getting it ON the day of was fine — I had an entourage to help and some awesome photo ops with my mom buttoning.....but I will say getting out of the dress at the end of the night was a big pain bc I needed H to help! In retrospect, I should’ve changed out of the dress BEFORE we after-partied, but I was determined to stay in it as long as possible! But had to get H to help before he fell asleep which was a bit of a challenge 🤣

still obsessed with my buttons though, I love love love the look!

My dress is so sheer that any under garment showed through and you could definitely tell it was a 2 piece or not. So a friend told me about Herroom.com I found a cute one piece that has a hook and eye closure so you can go to the bathroom. The garment has a built in corset and slims you. Guess what! It doesn't show! I love it.

I lovee buttons! My dress is zipper, but with fake buttons. My mom bought my dress and she requested no corset because she would be the one that would do it for me lol. If I would have wanted a corset, she would have been fine but she definitely was hoping I wouldn't lol. Shes pretty excited with the fake buttons zipper back.

Corsets for sure. I'm very busty and felt very secure when I tried on dresses with corsets. Mine ended with a corset and laced up the back so I'm not going to fall out anywhere when i wear it.

Corsets are pretty and I always thought I'd have one, but if they aren't laced JUST RIGHT, they look....weird. So if you go corset, make sure someone is around to see just how to get the ties to lay properly lol. My dress was a zipper with buttons over it. It was such a good decision!

I had my dress custom made with a zipper and then added silk buttons on top to cover the zipper.

I am in the same boat! I am so busty and I'm afraid something will fall out somewhere . That's why I'm nervous to get buttons or zipper. The only thing is... I can't find any corsets that aren't big ppofy dresses. I don't want anything too huge.
