Anyone considering cosmetic procedures, including dental, for their wedding? How are you timing it with the big day?

I think if you can afford it, why not?

I did look into teeth whitening but I didn't like the results - they were quite patchy and so I felt like my consistently less white teeth looked better than speckled whiter ones.

I have been getting skin treatments to fade some pigmentation on my face - it's not easy to completely get rid of, I just wanted to fade it enough that it was less noticeable under makeup.

I did consider just a tiny bit of botox in my '11' lines between my eyebrows to stop makeup settling there, but I haven't booked anything in and I might not. I don't really see anything wrong with wanting to look and feel your best, whatever that means to you.

Oh, no need for apologies. The downside to them is they are actually harder to fix than eyebags, because they are usually the result of muscle structure. The only thing that can be done is usually to improve the collagen beneath, which is where laser/RF comes in. Since these work by deliberately injuring the skin (forcing it to heal itself and thus build more collagen and elastin) it takes time and multiple procedures for it to help.

I definitely understand with the teeth, too! My husband got veneers nine years ago. He had one tooth removed because it was very far out of alignment and they initially told him it would be two years in braces to fix! He said no deal, so they pulled it instead and placed a bridge. You would never know. They look fabulous, and I am here to tell you, they made a world of difference for his confidence! He didn't have them when we got married, so he didn't smile big in any of the photos. I'm so excited for our vow renewal because he really smiles now!

Oh gosh thatʻs crazy, I had no idea!

Awww yay for your husband! I can *kinda* pull off my mess right now when I smile, but Iʻve always been so jealous of perfect veneers even tho I try to remind myself that no one is perfect.
