What have you guys paid for REAL flowers. I'm talking roses and greenery for bouquets and a couple corsages. I know prices vary but I was quoted $1110 and I don't even have flower centerpieces (not doing flower centerpieces) just bouquets, corsages, Isle Shepard hooks (6) and some decor for the...

I have one bride bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 2 mothers bouquets, 5 boutonnieres, 2 ceremony pieces, cake flowers, and 8 centerpieces for $1,900. We we're quoted up to $4,500. The range mostly fell between $3,000 and $4,000 so we jumped when we got a quote for $1,900.

Some of you are asking where I'm located. I am in Indianapolis BUT I am getting married in Emerald Isle NC on the beach. There aren't too many places close by but I did look over the contract closer last night and she added 3 extra bridemaids which I know taking those off will knock the price down.

Are corsages and boutonnieres for moms and fathers and grandparents actually needed? Not sure on the etiquette with that.

I spent $750 total for my bouquet, 5 other bouquets for my girls, corsages for our mom's, ceremony decorations and the men's boutonnières. This florist shop owner gave me a great deal since I purchased my dress from his dress shop (he has two different shops).

I ended up paying 980.00 I have two MOH's one Jr. Bridesmaid, seven boutonnieres, 4 mom/grandma corsages, 6 table arrangements (arrangements have lights throughout, floating candles), my bouquet is an over flowing waterfall with peonies and roses and a few other flowers with greenery, for our head table I have a flower runner that goes along the side of the table that also has lights running thorough out it, we also have some small arrangements throughout the head table in between floating candles, I have flowers that match my bouquet and center piece's that will go along the base of my cake stand, the florist will also be doing a flower crown and flower basket for my flower girl and she's also doing an arrangement for our cards/gift table. The way my florist works is that she does the arrangements but she also provides the accessories for our centerpieces so she's providing all the candles, twinkle lights, center piece bowls etc.. at the end of the day it really depends on the type of arrangements, the type of flowers you've chosen, the area you live in or are having the wedding in, and what else is included in your package. Hope this helps you!

Also touching on the etiquette of having or not having boutonnières or corsages for parents/grandparents; I think it is completely up to you and what is in your budget. for me personally if it came down to needing flowers in other areas for the reception or ceremony boutonnières and corsages would be the first thing I cut because I really don't think they are THAT needed but that's just my opinion and it's completely up to if you want them or not. My opinion is probably going to be the minority'.

I paid $750 for 4 bouquets (including bridal), 7 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, cake flowers, 8 centerpieces, 14 2ft seeded eucalyptus garland to go around my lanterns, and fresh petals for my flower girl. I have to put it all together myself but I got the instructions ahead of time and it seems pretty easy. I used Bloominous by the way and they customized my order for no additional charge.

I received quotes for anywhere from $**** for my flowers, which are pretty simple nothing super fancy -

    Bridal bouquet

    3 BM

    1 Jr BM

    5 bouts

    2 wrist corsages

6 foot swag of greenery and sunflowers for the entrance of the church.

I was very fortunate to find a local small florist who does amazing work on Instagram (of all places) because she works out of her home and orders flowers wholesale she is charging me $880 for all flowers including delivery and set up fee to hang the swag.

I just told a florist my budget and she said it would be fine. By the end my total was almost double. So go in with an open mind and price around

I was quoted $75 for my clutch bouquet of white roses, light blue hydrangeas, and dark blue delphinium. $45 each for bridesmaids bouquets of 9 white roses, and $6 each for a single white Rose boutineer.

Yeah, I thought the florist was the most ridiculous chunk of my budget. Maybe I'm not a flower fan, but ugh... robbery. I just wanted to get like... a supermarket bouquet, but my mom isn't having it.

Also, I'm in Northern VA, so everything just costs more...

So, for my bouquet (which will become the sweetheart table arrangement), 8 to 10 centerpieces, and some boutonnieres/corsages, I think we are paying $1500... and these are not roses or anything like that. I asked for seasonal "wild flower" type arrangements. This also includes column rentals for the alter and delivery/set-up.

I just feel like flowers are a waste of money. It just adds aesthetics and will do nothing later. But, my mom insisted so she got it.

Brides bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 2 large alter arrangements, bouts for FH and 3 groomsmen. Corsages for moms, 2 sisters and 2 grandmas. Bouts for dads and 2 ushers. Paying just around $1000. Our florist is also throwing in a toss bouquet and flowers to decorate the cake. Includes delivery fee.

We also got a pretty generous discount because we have a history with this florist (not a friendor!).

I think our cost is pretty typical of flower shops in our area. Obviously it would be cheaper to go to a supermarket floral department but I have always known who I wanted to do our wedding flowers and the cost wasn't really important to me.

I'm paying around $1,300 for all my flower needs...we're not doing flowers (corsages, etc) for anyone beyond the bridal party, like parents or grandparents. I'm getting married in the Adirondacks region of NY...if my wedding were local, I'd probably DIY, but don't want to mess with that at a "destination wedding."

I feel grateful for finding my florist - she was able to work within my budget and make many lovely suggestions I didn't think about that were less expensive.
