Costa Mujeres mx - Riu Palace or Dreams?!?! Any experience or advice?!?

Hi!! We are in the early stages of planning and looking at resorts is so overwhelming. I’m currently looking at the Costa Mujeres area, just north of Cancun. We will have our immediate family with us, so looking at kid-friendly resorts for our nieces & nephews.

The two resorts I am currently looking at are the •Riu Palace Costa Mujeres and the •Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort.
Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with either resort? I would appreciate any and all details! Thanks so much!!
