Costco for some flowers?

roman_holiday, on February 16, 2017 at 1:49 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12

I've read that people have used Costco for flowers...

I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with them and if so, what flowers did you buy? Its not clear to me if Costco does custom arrangements or if the people who've used them bought bunches of flowers and then DIY'd arrangements... thanks!! Smiley smile

A coworker of mine did Costco flowers. She DIY'd them and they turned out gorgeous and she said it was a lot cheaper than going with a florist.

    These where her centerpieces

We went with an all inclusive venue, otherwise I would have definitely used Costco flowers for DIY. From reading the wedding forums, it seemed like brides had good experiences with the product and with customer service.

We did a test run a couple months ago and it turned out great! Our Costco shipment for the wedding is scheduled for next Thursday! Doing all roses to keep it simple.

My FMIL is doing my flowers. We are planning to buy flowers in bulk at Costco and DIY the bouquets and arrangements.

They have a 20-pack with corsages, boutenierres, bouquets, centerpieces, etc. The description makes it seem like you can customize the quantity of each category, as long as it is 20 pieces. https://m.costco.com/Simply-Elegant-Rose-Wedding-Collections.product.11044147.html

My friend did Costco for diy flowers. They turned out beautifully and she saved a lot of money. HOWEVER, we were all in garden gloves w shears on the day of the wedding in between hair and makeup. We were happy to do it for her but I would think a bride doesn't want an extra thing to worry about doing the day of.

Sam's also does flowers, as do a few grocery store chains that I know of. Mariano's for example (Chicago) We are doing DIY flowers as my cousin was a florist all through college and for some time after, but I had no idea about the 20-pack deal! I will definitely look into that Smiley smile
