Costco Travel

Any one use Costco Travel and have any positive or negative experiences? Trying to decide on looking into Costco or using a personal Travel Agent as I have some around me that have amazing reviews.

I've used costco travel! It wasn't for my honeymoon but we're probably going to use them if where we decide to go, they travel to. I've gone to punta Cana with them and have a trip set up to cancun in November. My parents use costco travel too. I think that they do a super good job at finding good places because they care about their reputation. Also I've noticed they usually include upgrades or other perks. (I got upgraded when we went to punta cana and my parents got upgraded on their last trip) some perks include hotel credits that you can use on anything. My parents got 100 bucks on their last trip and my upcoming trip includes 50 bucks. Also I think you can say that it's your honeymoon on certain packages!

Thanks! They have a few of the nicer resorts in St Lucia with great packages. Some of the places they have would never be in our budget. I just wasn’t sure if they do a good job or not. Do you book everything online?

Not for flights or hotels, but they are ALL we use for rental cars. Literally so much cheaper every single time and so easy!

I've only booked online. But for honeymoon I suggest calling cause then you can tell them lol. I dont think that calling can give you cheaper options. But they're super helpful with questions. St. Lucia is definitely on my list. Let me know if you end up booking!

We booked our honeymoon through Costco Travel to Paradisus Punta Cana. We had a great experience! The resort credit didn't help much, but we had an agent on site that helped us book excursions and warned us where the time share people were and how to avoid them. We were able to upgrade at the hotel to the best suite (of course it cost extra) once they knew it was our honeymoon. We added on the butler service, and he was super helpful and made our honeymoon special. Another perk of Costco travel is they arranged a shuttle to and from the airport to the resort.

We also got 500+ back in Costco cash cards, which was one of the main reasons we booked through them. It was a great deal and we loved our stay! We didn't do our flights through them only because I had unused flight credits that had to be used ASAP. Next time we take a big vacation to an exotic place where we don't know much about it, we are doing it through Costco!

I've used Costco to travel to Europe 3 times, all for multi city trips. Their prices are super reasonable and everything has always gone super smoothly with them. I would definitely recommend using them!

I haven't use a travel agent but I have used travel and booked car rentals or hotels because sometimes it is cheaper. So I usually just compare but I have never had a bad experience.

I used them for a trip to Tahiti (non-honeymoon) and would highly recommend them! They had everything covered that I would have never thought of- like the fact that you have to take a ferry to get from the island where we landed in the airplane to the island where the hotel was. Very organized and perfectly executed trip with no stress!
